The week of 18th to 22nd September has been designated ‘Climate Week’, across the UK and by the Scottish Government through SSN. On Boom Radio, we promoted this through speaking to Fife College’s sustainability expert about how we combat climate change, what it actually means and the effects of climate change around the world.
As individuals, we can all play our part, by reducing our own carbon footprint. And we all know how to do this. Switch off/shut down, drive less, recycle more, reuse, don’t fly, eat less meat and more vegetables, etc. Will that be enough? No. Not if we’re honest. But it is a good first step.
