Singer song-writer Deni Smith joined us in the boom radio studio recently.
She is originally from Dunfermline, Fife but now lives in Glasgow.
We absolutely love her sun-soaked pop feel music and her bubbly friendly personality.
Deni released her debut single “Bring back the Sun” after she played a sell out gig at PJ Molloys in Dunfermline. She had her festival debut at the Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival in August 2016.
Deni had a busy first year playing at many venues and festivals, she toured with Hit the Road played in The Stove travelled to Dumfries and Oran Mor and even spent some time song writing with Ross Leighton (Fatherson).
Deni ended her 2016 by making the Scotsman Artist of the week column.
In 2017 Deni started her year by playing at the Celtic Connections Festival to a jam packed full audience. She then went on to the Dunfermline Press Community Champion Awards and won the award for the Live Music category.
Deni has continued to entertain with her fantastic music again at Celtic Connections again at the start of the year and many other festivals like Bute Fest.
When Deni joined us at the Boom Radio Studio we were privileged to hear some of her new material and we can’t wait to play her fresh new music here on air here at BOOM.
